ISA took a trip to El Tigre, which is this city on a river. I half expected the place to be run down for some reason, but it was really nice! We took a bus-boat (it's like a bus inside of a boat with comfy seats) on the river and looked at the houses and learned a little about how the population here lives.

There are no streets for cars along the river, so everyone travels by boat. Their supermarket is even by boat!

There aren't just houses along the river; there's a museum and even an amusement park.

After El Tigre, we went to the market called Puerto de Frutos. It's a large market filled with lots of neat things to buy at a very reasonable price.
The market is right next to El Tigre.
Once we left the market, we headed over to Río de la Plata. From this point, we could see Uruguay on our left and the skyline of Buenos Aires on our right. Es muy lindo!
While here, we sat down and ate toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, brownies and medialuna. Medialuna is a croissant with a sweet coating, usually honey. They are a tasty treat.

The day was filled with fun and adventure. It was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of living in a big city.
